about

Hello, je suis Chloé.

A quiet corner of my kitchen — fresh parsley, an open notebook, and a coffee

I’m a French home cook. I don’t have a restaurant. I don’t have a studio. I have a small kitchen with a wooden table, a window that gets good afternoon light, and a drawer full of mismatched spoons.

I grew up around food the way most French kids do — long Sunday lunches, a grandmother who insisted on butter, a mother who taught me that a quiche really is just eggs, cream, and patience. I cook the way I was taught: simplement, avec le cœur.

A few years ago I started writing down the recipes I cook the most, mostly so I’d stop losing them on the back of receipts. That became this little corner of the internet — part cookbook, part journal, part love letter to dinner.

You’ll find a lot of pasta here (my first love), a lot of French comfort food, and the occasional experiment from somewhere I’ve never been. Nothing is complicated. Everything is meant to be made on a weeknight, with the music on, a glass of something nearby.

merci d’être ici. now — on cuisine?
